From Fragmented to Functional:Rebuilding the Endometriosis Care Model

📅 25th June 2025 | 🕓 4:00 – 7:00 PM GMT | 💻 Live Online Symposium

Is Endometriosis Just a Hormonal Imbalance? Think Again.
What if endometriosis isn’t just about hormones—but a complex, systemic condition rooted in immune dysfunction, inflammation, and environmental stressors? This game-changing symposium will challenge outdated views and offer a powerful new perspective rooted in Systems Biology, Functional Medicine, and personalised nutrition.
Join leading clinical experts as they unpack the real drivers of endometriosis and reveal how integrative, root-cause strategies can help transform outcomes—from pain management to hormonal balance and long-term healing.

Join clinical experts and thought leaders as they reframe endometriosis through the lens of integrative healthcare, providing root-cause insights and practical strategies for optimal healing.

Featured Experts & Talks

SESSION 1: Rethinking Endometriosis: A Functional Medicine Perspective

Dr Ghazala Aziz-Scott | Clinical Lead Doctor, Marion Gluck Clinic

Dr Ghazala Aziz-Scott explores the evolving understanding of endometriosis as a whole-body disease involving immune dysregulation, gut imbalances, and systemic inflammation. This session will examine the limitations of conventional therapies and present an integrative, multimodal treatment strategy, offering a framework for truly personalised care.

Key Learning Objectives:
– Understand the multifactorial root causes of endometriosis, including hormone imbalance, immune dysfunction, inflammation, and gut dysbiosis.
– Explore the limitations of conventional treatment and the benefits of a personalised, interdisciplinary approach.
– Provide practical clinical strategies for effective, root-cause-based support.

SESSION 2: Gut Barrier & Immunity in Endometriosis

Kat Smith | KBMO

Impaired gut integrity directly impacts disease states. In this session, Kat Smith explores the critical role of gut health and immune function, highlighting how LPS-driven inflammation can drive endometriosis progression. With a focus on functional testing and immune modulation, Kat presents practical strategies for achieving meaningful structural and symptomatic change in endometriosis clients.

Key Learning Objectives:
– Understand LPS (lipopolysaccharide) as a key driver of endometriosis development and symptoms
– Examine the nuances and benefits of functional testing in endometriosis care
– Evaluate immune system involvement and potential interventions
– Challenge restrictive eating patterns in the “endo-belly” scenario
– Consider long-term structural change and sustainable progress in endometriosis management

SESSION 3:  Endometriosis clients in Perimenopause Lifestage: Considerations, Case Study Pearls and supplementation

Lorna Driver-Davies | Wild Nutrition.

Navigating the intersection of perimenopause and endometriosis presents a unique and often complex clinical picture for nutrition professionals. During the perimenopausal transition, systemic inflammation tends to rise, which can exacerbate the immune–endocrine dysregulation already present in clients with endometriosis.

With oestrogen regulation and inflammatory pathways deeply intertwined, supporting both hormonal changes and a chronic inflammatory condition simultaneously can be a daunting clinical task. Traditional endometriosis protocols typically focus on women in their reproductive years, leaving a gap in guidance for those entering perimenopause.  Lorna Driver-Davies will explore this nuanced terrain, including real-life case studies to illuminate effective strategies for managing this dual presentation.

Key Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the physiological complexities when endometriosis co-exists with perimenopause.
  • Identify the key risk factors and clinical considerations for clients experiencing both conditions concurrently.
  • Explore effective nutritional and lifestyle interventions tailored to support immune and endocrine balance in this specific client group.
  • Gain insights into targeted supplementation strategies, including the use of Food-Grown® Endo Support and Food-Grown® Perimenopause Complex, for managing inflammation, oestrogen metabolism, and hormone function.
  • Learn from practitioner-led case studies that demonstrate real-world application of integrative protocols.
