A Personalised Approach to Menopause through DNA testing

Thursday 15th April 2021 | 18pm GMT 11:00am PST | 2:00pm EST| 1.5 CPD

With DNA Specialists Vicky Godfrey and Kate Scott

Can a DNA test tell you how to master menopause?  Is it possible to take a ‘functional genomics’ view of the mechanisms that drives menopause in women?
Although we all possess the same set of genes, our sequencing can be unique. Our genes interact daily with our diets and lifestyle (which includes stress, sleep, exercise, relationships and environment). Join us for a fascinating webinar with two experts in nutrigenomics and founders of DNA pal Kate Scott and Vicky Godfrey who will be discussing female health as their primary focus for DNA testing.

Join our DNA specialists and learn more about:

  • The function of specific genes in female hormones
  • The role diet and nutrition play on the activity of your genes and the factors you should take into consideration to achieve optimal function
  • The underlying cause of your menopausal symptoms
  • Recommendations for your diet, lifestyle and environment to support menopause
Join us if you want answers to questions you have always had about hormones and DNA testing.
CPD accreditation for this webinar will be rewarded from the NNA.

Once registered, you will receive three reminder emails – one a week before the webinar, one a day before and one on the day of the webinar. All our webinars are recorded – you will be sent a link to the recording along with all the educational material, presentations, handouts and CPD approximately 24 to 48 hours after the event.

Vicky Godfrey

Nutrigenomics Specialist and Co- Founder DNA pal

As a Harley Street nutritional therapist (NT), Vicky Godfrey's belief is prevention is better than cure. This is where she sees DNA testing and being able to support your health and foundations is so important to your health journey. Vicky is also the co-founder of DNApal.me. You can’t get anymore personalised than supporting people with their genetics. The model she followed and studied was based on Functional Medicine to get to the root of the problem.  Functional Medicine focuses on a highly individualised and scientifically based approach to health with the emphasis on addressing underlying imbalances rather than just dealing with a set of symptoms.
